Mario Quintero is a Mexican musician and songwriter who is best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist for the norteño band Los Tucanes de Tijuana. The band was formed in Tijuana, Mexico in 1987 and has since become one of the most popular norteño bands in Mexico and the United States.
Quintero is known for his distinctive singing style and his energetic performances on stage. He is also a talented songwriter, having penned many of Los Tucanes de Tijuana's most popular songs, including "La Chona" and "El Tucanazo".
